Croatia Tour 6 Days Highlights

Cross Croatia from top to bottom! We tour 4 cities: the capital Zagreb, Plitvice Lakes National Park, Split and Dubrovnik.
Travel between cities, and airport-hotel transfers on arrival and return days, are made by private vehicle.

Places to Visit

Plitvice Lakes National Park

Attracting attention as one of Croatia's most popular sightseeing spots, it is also registered as a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site. The sight of 16 lakes and over 90 waterfalls glowing emerald green depending on the light is spectacular. You can hike the trail courses or view the lakes from a sightseeing boat; the attractions are grouped together, making it easy to explore. In winter, the national park may close due to snow or the lake surface freezing, so we recommend traveling between May and September.

Zagreb

The capital of Croatia. Although it is Croatia's largest city, it is a town that somehow retains a medieval feel. St. Mark's Church, symbolized by its colorful red and blue mosaic roof, and the Cathedral of the Assumption, marked by two tall towers, are the city's highlights. At night, gas lamps are used, so you can enjoy a nostalgic atmosphere.

Split

The seaside town of Split. Diocletian's Palace, a ruin built by an ancient Roman emperor and registered as a World Heritage Site, is a must-see. People still live within this palace today, and you can see the curious sight of modern people going about their daily lives in an ancient city.

Dubrovnik

With a history of once flourishing as a trading city rivaling Venice, traces of those days still remain, and the old town is registered as a World Heritage Site. Recommended ways to spend your time are strolling atop the walls surrounding the old town, or riding the cable car to the summit of Mount Srđ to gaze at the contrast between the orange roofs of the old town's houses and the deep blue sea.

Schedule

Day 1:

Departure from Istanbul ⇒ to Zagreb, Croatia. After arriving at the airport, transfer by car (local driver only) to the hotel. After check-in (from 15:00), free time in Zagreb.

Day 2:

By car (local driver only) from Zagreb → to Plitvice Lakes National Park (approx. 2.5 hours). After check-in (from 15:00), free time at Plitvice Lakes National Park. Entrance ticket to Plitvice Lakes National Park is included.

Day 3:

By car (local driver only) from Plitvice Lakes National Park → to Split (approx. 3 hours). After check-in (from 15:00), free time in Split.
